Families
Being a family photographer in Northeast Georgia and Southeast Florida is an amazing thing. I’ve photographed families in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Fernandina, Yulee, Kingsland, St. Marys, Woodbine, St. Simons, and JekylI Island.
At Dez Merrow Photography, family photography is so special because I don’t have very many family portraits to look back on. Both of my parents grew up outside of the country and while I have a few of my late mother’s family photos, I have absolutely NONE of my father’s side of the family. Zero, zip, NADA. My sons, and future grandchildren will never know what their grandfather’s family life was like when he was a child. This is why I’m so passionate about family photos. I’ve been so honored to have clients that chose me to take what they considered their “last family photo” because of illnesses. It’s also always a wonderful feeling to take a family’s first photo and document their growth throughout the years!
